It’s no secret that Buc-ee’s gas stations are one of the most highly spoken of travel centers on United States highways, and for good reason. The latest Buc-ee’s store to open, the very first in Colorado, also boasts a Tesla SuperCharger charging station.

With Tesla SuperChargers offering up to a 200-mile charge in just 15 minutes, your time at Buc-ee’s may be short, but while you’re there you can check out everything the nationally acclaimed convenience store has to offer. Personally, we’d go for a cinnamon roll and the famed Beaver Nuggets –a puffed corn snack that comes in varieties from sweet and salty, to cheesy and spicy – but their beef jerky section, sandwich shop and shelves of knickknacks, shirts and kids toys are also worth checking out. Just walking around the store will also get you closer to your daily step goal, as Buc-ee’s are known to be massive both inside and out.

In addition to Tesla SuperChargers, the Leeds, Alabama Buc-ee’s location also offers a Universal DC Fast Charger. Those of you who have friends with Mercedes-Benz electronic vehicles might also be interested to know that in 2024, Mercedes has partnered with Buc-ee’s to start building a number of EV charging hubs at locations across the country, with nearly 30 slated to be installed by the end of the year.
